Mystic Monkeys and Feathers Wildlife Park started when Christa Saayman bought her first pair of Golden handed Tamarins and grew rapidly untill she was awarded zoo and sanctuary status. Mystic Monkeys and Feathers Wildlife Park offers an amazing animal adventure, ideal for discovering our fascinating animal kingdom. It has one of South Africa's largest collections of different species of primates (38 species) and exotic birds (33 species) and is also the home of some of the world's most interesting animal species, such as Lemurs and Sloth's. The park is also the proud owners of a family of Chimpanzees, who will amaze you with their strength and human like behaviour, and classify as one of the big 5 apes. Kigeli Nature and Wellness Spa is situated on the banks of the Elands River under the protective branches of our Kigeli Monkey-Thorn Tree, one of the largest recorded Monkey-Thorn Tree in the Southern Hemisphere. The name "Kigeli' has become symbolic to the saying "beyond borders". The environment is breathtaking and provides a relaxing atmosphere. The bird life and river provides its own natural sounds, which leads to instant rejuvenation, which makes this the ideal spot for the Spa. Relaxation is our main concern, therefore we have decided on all natural products with anti-depressant, refreshing and uplifting properties.
