General Terms and Conditions 

1.   All quotes are subject to availability.  Guests wishing to avoid disappointment should confirm provisional bookings as soon as possible.

2.   Due to unforeseen circumstances the price of certain items may be increased without prior notification.

3.   Normal closing time 00h00 – 00h30 unless other arrangements have been made.

4.   Any functions wishing to continue later than normal time will be charged with an additional venue hire and staff costs.

5.   After hours venue hire will be charged at R1200.00? per hour or part thereof – R35.00 per hour per waiter – R50.00 per hour per barman.

6.   Children under 12 will be charged 50% of the agreed adult menu price and children under 4 years of age are free

7.    No staples or nails to be used for attaching any decorations to the walls or partitions

8.    Secure parking is available, but all our facilities are utilized at your own risk at all times

9.    Gratuities are not included in our pricing and are optional at the discretion of the client.

10.  Additional items requested can be either supplied by the client or hired at the client’s cost.

11.   All prices are inclusive of 14% VAT

Bookings 

1.    A 50% deposit is required to confirm a provisional booking.

2.    If a 50% deposit is not paid 7 days after the initial enquiry – Tshukudu Lodge reserves the right to release the provisional booking without any further notice to the client.

3.    FULL PAYMENT is required 10 days before the booking

4.    All payments made within the required time period are non refundable.

5.    All changes and cancellations in regard to the function must be made in writing by the client.

6.   Cancellations 60 days prior to the function / wedding date will incur a 100% cancellation fee. 

Loss / Damage 

1.   Neither Tshukudu Lodge nor its agents or employees shall be liable for any damages or loss which may occur to any of the goods of the customer, its employees or invites, brought onto the premises for whatever reason, nor for any injury or loss of life of the customer or its employees or invitees, howsoever caused.  The customer further identifies and holds harmless Tshukudu Lodge against any claim that may be made against the company (Rust de Winter Property Holdings cc) by any third party relating to the provision of this cause.

2.   Should any damages occur to any property belonging to Tshukudu Lodge – buildings, gardens, décor, carpets, linen, crockery, cutlery or nay hired goods brought onto the premises for the function – the client will be held responsible and billed accordingly.

3.   Candle burns / wax damage will be charged to the client.

4.   Tshukudu Lodge will not be held liable for any interruptions of services (water , electricity, sanitation) 

Bar Services / Food 

1.   No beverages, spirits, beer or food may be brought onto the premises without written consent. 

Menu

1.   Certain dishes served are subject to seasonal availability

2.    All prices include VAT and are subject to change with prior written notification

3.   Should actual numbers fall below that of the guaranteed minimum, charges would be based on the guaranteed number

4.   Final numbers must be submitted in writing 2 weeks prior to the function date

5.   All entertainers’ meals should be included in the guaranteed number  

Payment 

1.    A booking can only be confirmed by FULL PAYMENT of the total bill

2.    The outstanding amount of the total food, beverages and extras bill must be settled 10 days prior to the wedding / function date

3.    The final appointment to finalize the function procedures, final checklists, final confirmation of the menu and bar requirements and final anticipated numbers will take place no longer than 14 days prior to the function

4.     Should the client decide on an open bar the limit is payable 7 days before the function. 

Deposit 

1.    A 50% deposit is required to confirm a provisional booking.

2.    FULL PAYMENT is required 10 days before booking date.

4.    All deposits paid are non-refundable in the event of a cancellation or postponement of the function  

Cancellation Policy 

1. Cancel 1 Day before Arrival, During the Stay OR No Show – The full payment due may be levied 

2.  Cancel 2 – 14 Days before Date of Arrival – Full Deposit paid is forfeited      

3.  Cancel 15 – 28 Days before Date of Arrival – 75% of the Deposit paid or 25% of the quote value (whichever greater) is forfeited  

4.  Cancel 28+ Days before Date of Arrival – 50% of the Deposit paid or 25% of the full quote values (whichever greater) are forfeited
